Located at the entrance of Iguazu city, the Bio center is a natural reservoir of flora and fauna, created to improve environmental care.
The journey starts at the reptile and aquarium area, where you will be able to appreciate iguanas and different types of snakes (even poisonous ones!) from Misiones and all over the world. You will also find here many fish species.
The path continues recreating the wild Paraná Forest, habitat of yacares, turtles, boas and pitons of fascinating colors and length, which you’ll be able to see.
The tour ends at the butterfly stage, where you will be walking surrounded by the most beautiful and diverse butterflies from Misiones Province. Here you can learn their life cycle (egg - caterpillar - butterfly). All of this is explained through some description boards of Misiones different species.
